Presentations will focus on energy generation, efficiency, management, and smart grids. Speakers coming from the public and private sectors as well as academia will share real experiences from the field. Presentations are divided into two sections, in Session 1 speakers will share analysis on global market trends and new business models. In the afternoon Session 2 will focus on case studies from successful clean-tech companies in Taiwan.
Global PV Market Outlook
Bloomberg New Energy Finance reports its observation of the PV industry in 2016 and presents the market outlook for the next year. The coverage includes global demand forecasts based on the analysis of more than thirty countries, supply analysis starting from polysilicon to module, understandings of price change and the driving factors, and an examination of the impacts of technology improvement and trade disputes.

生物體的組成，分別由細胞，組織，器官，到最後的系統分工組成，而其中最重要的則在於大腦與神經系統負責收集，控制，反應與決策管理的作為，使人得以為人。本演講將以IOT技術如何扮演好能源產業中之神經系統出發，以明日電站及相關應用為實例，說明不同層次之IOT與M2M技術之應用，如何讓目前獨立作業的能源單元(Energy Sector)，進一步被串聯成為Energy System，甚至未來的能源神經網路系統(Neural Network)，創造能源加上物聯網的高邊際效應能源網路。

循環經濟是一個可恢復且可再生的產業體系：相較於線性經濟中產品“壽終正寢”的概念，循環經濟講求的是“再生恢復”、使用可再生能源、拒絕使用妨礙再利用的有毒化學物質，並藉由重新設計材料、產品、及商務模式，以消除廢棄物並使得資源能夠更有效率地被利用。春池玻從事專業回收玻璃與再處理，跨足工業原料、科技建材、文化藝術與觀光工廠，目前每年回收並處理超過10萬噸，為全台最具規模之廢棄玻璃回收業者，2015獲得「根留台灣，展望全球」之「金根獎」之殊榮。目前在新竹與苗栗有5座廢玻璃處理、再加工廠，回收的廢玻璃約占台灣的七成，致力於把有限的資源，不停循環使用，使其變成永續的材料，走出台灣循環經濟的下一條路!

投入綠色經濟領域多年，台灣大學經濟系畢業，為美國康乃狄克大學經濟學博士，研究領域包括環境經濟學、法律經濟學、公共經濟學、應用計量經濟學、應用個體經濟學等。現職為中華經濟研究院綠色經濟研究中心主任，並擔任經濟部國貿局「綠色貿易推動方案」計畫主持人。

Justin Wu is Head of APAC and formerly head of Asia and wind analysis, leading a global team responsible for producing and communicating analysis on the economics, policy, and strategic dynamics of the APAC region. He is a also specialist in Chinese energy policy and US-China clean energy trade issues. Justin has been quoted extensively in international media and has testified before the US Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources on competitiveness and collaboration between the US and China on clean energy.
